Wear: Recommended for daytime use during all levels of activity. There is no restriction on how long to wear this splint. Wear a waterproof glove over the brace if working or playing in water.

Care: Keeping the splint clean will extend the life of the splint. Allow any lotions of creams to absorb into your skin fully before applying the splint. Hand wash using a damp sponge or cloth and a small amount of light detergent soap. Rinse with cold water and use a towel to absorb water and lay flat or hang to air dry. Do not place in a dryer.

Material:Aluminum interior frame; hypoallergenic foam, sponge andvelour fabric; nylon hook closure tabs. 100% Latex-Free

Precautions: Check with your healthcare provider to determine if a splint is right for your condition. Follow your provider’s instructions on when and how long to wear this splint. Do not expose the splint to excess heat or flames. Material covering may be altered if exposed to flames or high heat.

How is this brace different from other soft fabric wrist braces?
Thisis one of the most comfortable, and supportive soft braces we have tested. The features of the Fix Comfort Wrist brace include a very thin and lightweight interior frame that can easily be shaped to fit your hand. The 3-layer sponge, foam and velour material is quite thin (3/16”) but provides a very effective cushion. The velour texture allows the straps to fit anywhere on the brace for an optimal fit and comfort.

This brace is quite durable, and we put all our products through pretty rigorous testing. One member of our team put it to the test after an injury. It was worn 24 hours a day for 6 weeks and barely showed any wear at all. Washing once a week helped keep it fresh and clean. She was quite pleased, and her doctor was quite impressed.

Does this brace have a metal bar?
Yes, the Fix Custom Wrist Brace has a metal bar, but it is unlike any other brace in the way the bar is shaped to fit your hand. First, the bar is comfortably padded by the tri-layer material so you never feel any hard or sharp edges. Then, it is narrowed at the wrist to avoid pressure on your thumb and the end is shaped like a spoon, so it cups your palm without interfering with finger motion at all. It is elegantly designed.

Can I wear this for Carpal Tunnel?
Yes, this brace is recommended to hold your wrist in the proper position to reduce the tingling and discomfort caused by pressure on the nerve in the carpal tunnel. You should be able to do most daily activities with the brace on, while still keeping your wrist rested.

I broke my wrist and the doctor wants me to get a brace to use when the cast comes off. Is this a good brace to wear after I come out of my cast?
Absolutely. The Fix Comfort Wrist Brace is easily adjusted to give you just the amount of support you will need as your wrist gets moving in therapy.

Can I wear the Fix Comfort Wrist Brace in water?
The Fix Comfort Wrist Brace is not waterproof. A cast cover is recommended when bathing or when submerging your hand in water. You may be able to use a rubber glove or a disposable vinyl glove over the splint when doing dishes or light cleaning tasks.

Will this make my hand sweaty?
The Fix Comfort Wrist Brace is an open air design so there is air flow in your palm and along your forearm. The brace also has a nice pattern of air holes that are large enough to let air flow through. You may perspire in warm weather conditions, so some sweating is unavoidable. The brace is hand washable, so it stays fresh and reduces any odors that might otherwise occur.

How long will I have to wear the brace?
How long you need to wear the brace depends on your condition and on the advice of your health care provider. The Fix Comfort Wrist Brace is one of the most comfortable braces available and it can easily be worn all day, as well as at night, depending on your needs.

Is this brace heavy?
The Fix Comfort Wrist Brace weighs only 2.6 ounces and is one of the lightest weight braces we have found. The advanced materials and ultra-thin frame create a brace that is only 3/16’ (4.6 mm) thick.

Will I be able to use my hand?
The brace is quite thin, and it contours closely around your wrist and hand. You should be able to do most of your daily activities when wearing it. Do remember that the purpose of a brace is to rest or protect your hand and you may need to adjust how you do things or eliminate some tasks to allow your hand to heal.

Can I wash the Fix Brace?
The Fix brace can be washed by hand in the sink with a small amount of liquid detergent. Rinse well and pat it with a towel to remove excess water and lay flat or hang it on a hangar to dry

Worth the money!

Helping but

Fix Comfort Wrist Brace for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (29)

This is helping me stabilize my wrist—I have had many braces in the past but none of them were strong nor long enough to keep it in place until this one. Unfortunately it’s hard for my to keep it tight enough or on through the night because the pins(?) that keep the hand straps in place are rubbing against my knuckles and are super painful. I have to keep them a little loose to relieve the pain. The thumb hole took a couple days to break in but that was painfully tight in those first couple of days. I recommend because there’s literally nothing else I’ve tried as effective, but maybe get like blister bandages where it rubs. If the company can figure out an alternative that would be amazing.

Very comfortable wrist brace

Easy to put on. Not bulky. Can wear it all day/night if needed. During the heat of the summer it is totally comfortable probably because the brace contains no extra padding. Can wear work gloves over it too. I work outside everyday either running a chain saw, weed eater, leaf blower, raking, etc. and this brace meets my needs for that overuse of the wrist area. Can custom fit by bending the metal supports if needed. Plus you can wear it on either hand/wrist!

Just what we needed

I purchased this brace for my wife, who experienced a severe stroke that paralyzed her entire left side. Her left wrist has been bent into a position of deformity, causing pain and discomfort. But as soon as she put on this brace, her wrist was immediately straightened and flattened into a 'normal' position which also allowed her fingers to relax. And this brace is comfortable enough that she's able to wear it all day. Thanks for making a great wrist brace available at a reasonable price. It's just what we needed.

This wrist brace is so well-designed, that I have been unable to find anything wrong with it and I am an engineer who is very critical of such things. I found one minor issue which was one of the steel brace bars rub against the first knuckle of my pinky finger, but I realized that I could bend the tip of that bar back sufficiently that the problem went away. This only convinced me even further of the superiority of this product. That piece of Steel was not easily bent, but once bent remained exactly where I wanted it. That shows a well chosen grade of Steel. This brace is very Sleek, meaning it is unobtrusive. I have tried other braces and they are bulky. This one is not bulky at all. And it is the easiest to put on and off what does strapping system.

This has been very help with a sprain that doesn't want to get better. I had to bend one bar up a bit because it was rubbing. The 2 rivets finish wears off quick and leaves a green spot but don't let this stop you. This is hands down the best brace I have ever owned.

I’m an artist who unfortunately overworked their hand far too much, and was riddled with pain for nearly 2 months!I bought a new brace, only to realize my injury had evolved— this brace has been my saving grace!It protects both sides of the hands and because you can use it for both left and right hands I have no fear of it losing its usefulness!I only wish that you could machine wash and dry it!(Can machine wash on delicate but must be air dried)
