I WOULD SAY THAT MOST OF THE ACTION RIGHT NOW IS FOCUSED ON THIS BUILDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. DOWNTOWN PIZZA. WE ACTUALLY SAW THE FIREFIGHTERS USING CHAINSAWS TO CREATE HOLES IN THE ROOF OF THE BUILDING. PROBABLY TO MOST LIKELY TO LET MORE SMOKE OUT THE ENTIRE STREET HERE IS BLOCKED OFF. WE’RE SEEING FIRE CREWS FROM MULTIPLE FIRE DEPARTMENTS HERE. WE’RE SEEING THE ASHLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT, CAMPTON THORNTON FIRE RESCUE PEOPLE HERE TELL ME THAT THEY’VE BEEN WATCHING CREWS BATTLING THIS NOW FOR A FEW HOURS. AT THIS POINT, THEY TELL US THEY DID SEE ORANGE BRIGHT FLAMES IN THE BACK OF ALL OF THESE BUILDINGS HERE ALONG MAIN STREET. WE HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED MULTIPLE TIMES TO STAY BEHIND THIS YELLOW CAUTION TAPE. STILL A VERY ACTIVE SCENE HERE. THERE WAS JUST SO MUCH WATER JUST FLOODING THE STREET. THEY WERE USING GALLONS OF WATER TO CONTAIN THE SMOKE. WE CAN STILL SMELL THE VERY, VERY HEAVY SMELL OF SMOKE. WE’RE GOING TO. WE’RE NOT LEAVING HERE AT ALL. ANYTIME SOON. Crews battle fire on Main Street in Plymouth; The Flying Monkey evacuated during show

Hundreds were evacuated as crews battled multiple building fires on Main Street in Plymouth Saturday night.Plymouth fire said crews responded to 41-45 Main Street where Downtown Pizza and the former Peppercorn Natural Food Store were engulfed in flames. Common Man officials said during a show that was underway Saturday evening, 450 guests, employees and musicians were evacuated from The Flying Monkey after the fire broke out next door.
