A few notable tips I learned from catering small parties, to planning and executing weddings and events for over 300 guests:

  • Mix it Up – When selecting what to serve, consider dietary needs and preferences. Offer a variety of gluten-free, dairy-free, seafood, and meat options so there is something for everyone.
  • Label – If they are not passed, I recommend labeling with the name and primary ingredients to reduce waste.
  • Consider Time and Conditions – If you are serving in lieu of a meal, select protein packed options. If it will be really hot outside, consider including a couple lighter options.
